Assistant Project Manager (Building Envelope & Façade Restoration)

Description

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in building envelope systems, façade rehabilitation, and NYC compliance processes like FISP. You’ll support Project Managers across all phases of project delivery—from documentation and field inspections to client communication and tracking compliance with Local Law 11.

Work on NYC’s Most Iconic Facades – Assistant Project Manager (Building Envelope & Façade Restoration)

• Balancing time between site work and office coordination
• Communicating clearly with clients, contractors, and city agencies
• Monitoring progress, costs, and contractor coordination
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to develop repair scopes and reports
• Supporting façade and building envelope restoration projects across New York City
• Assisting with field investigations, documentation, and conditions assessments
• Helping track and manage FISP (Local Law 11) inspections, filings, and timelines

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management—or equivalent hands-on experience
• Valid driver’s license (and insurance if using your vehicle for site visits)
• Tech savvy—comfortable with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
• Comfortable with site work, inspections, and direct client interaction
• 1–3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction, preferably with a focus on façades or exterior building systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with NYC building codes and FISP (Local Law 11) processes is a major plus
