- Conduct daily microbiological testing, including work under a sterile hood, spread plate, enrichments, sub-cultures, gram staining, coagulation tests, fungi identification, and microscope work.
- Complete detailed documentation and paperwork in SAP and by hand, following SOPs and GMPs.
- Coordinate the shipping of samples for outsourced testing to third-party laboratories.
- Perform environmental monitoring and swabbing in manufacturing areas at scheduled times.
- Ensure quality control of microbiological supplies and perform growth promotion testing and water testing.

- Experience with gram staining, spread plate, and membrane filtration.
- Understanding of cleaning and disinfection procedures, particularly from healthcare or veterinary backgrounds.
- Experience in quality control, GMP, laboratory, and environmental monitoring.
- Proficiency in biological techniques and methods.
- Strong understanding of microbiology and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to perform detailed documentation and reporting.
- BS Degree in Biology required; a master's level degree is preferred.
