- Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and relationship management initiatives.
- Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies for medium-value, medium-complexity projects.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.
- Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and manage procurement documents, including RFPs, RFQs, RFTs, and contracts.
- Report regularly on sourcing initiatives and escalate potential issues.

- Access to a car and valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management practices, inventory control, and project-specific procurements.
- 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid-level to senior roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP S4Hana or similar ERP systems.
- Experience in government or crown corporation environments.
- Understanding of contract and competitive bid laws.
- SCMP designation or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
- Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proactive, strategic problem solver, able to gather information independently.
