• Oversee technically complex scopes, supporting operations and projects in line with governance and procedures.
• Provide global technical leadership across engineering, driving strategy implementation and best practice.
• Act as the technical focal point for Decommissioning technology, particularly Abrasive Water Jet Cutting.
• Ensure health, safety, sustainability, and legal compliance, safeguarding personnel and product integrity.
• Review customer technical requirements and ensure fit-for-purpose design solutions across all capability streams.
• Approve technical input for bids, project-specific standards, and major design scopes to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Meaningful work with impact across safety, innovation, and global operations.
• Demonstrated capability to challenge conventional thinking and drive technical excellence
• Proven track record in technical and operational management, including design integration of engineering systems.
• Experience in subsea cutting tools, ROV tooling, or Phase 3 well P&A, with extensive knowledge of the Subsea Water Abrasive Cutting industry.
• Degree or professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Engineer) desirable.
• Strong experience managing risk across the project lifecycle and delivering safe, compliant solutions to customer specifications.
• Ability to respond innovatively to evolving customer needs and think creatively to solve complex problems.
