Chemistry Analyst

Description

• Assist scientists and engineers in a lab environment by collecting samples and performing biological or chemical analyses.
• Conduct analyses using instrumentation such as ICP, ICP MS, Leco Protein Analyzers, Fat Extractors, Auto Titrators, TGA, HPLC, GC, and Wet Chemistry tests.
• Plan, design, and conduct laboratory experiments to test chemical specifications of substances.
• Prepare detailed reports with recommendations, applications, and conclusions.
• Estimate resources and time required for experiments and monitor performance to meet targets.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment.
• Collect, prepare, and test samples, recording observations.
• Provide technical knowledge and expertise in specialized analytical instrumentation to support nutritional testing and product analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, natural sciences, or food sciences with emphasis in Analytical Chemistry preferred.
• Knowledge of chromatography, chemistry, and food science.
• Experience with LCMSMS, ICP-OES, GC-FID is advantageous.
• Ability to conduct quality assurance testing.
• Experience in analytical chemistry is preferred.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, ICP instrumentation.
