What you would be doing

  • Drive to and from customer sites as needed in your company truck (as long as your driving record is acceptable)
  • You’ll help train technicians of all levels
  • You’ll service, troubleshoot and repair complex commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, thermal storage systems and more – it’s something new every day!

  • Ability to efficiently execute repairs with little to no technical assistance
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Material Handling: Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
  • Proficient with brazing, leak checking and the evacuation process
  • Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
  • Knowledge of basic refrigerant cycle, various heating components and air distribution systems.
  • Ability to abide by basic safe work practices
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Understands mechanical drawings and equipment specifications
  • Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
  • Universal EPA Certification
