Follow Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS) and safety standards
Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Perform and lead instrument wiring, loop checks, calibrations, and panel work
Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and onsite testing
Support and execute installation, startup, and commissioning of control systems
Drive Customer Success: Take ownership, communicate clearly, and deliver quality work
Accurately document work performed and communicate issues proactively
Troubleshoot and repair PLC, HMI, and control system components in the field
Provide professional, customer-focused technical support at client sites

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with PLC and HMI startup and troubleshooting
Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required
2–5+ years of industry or hands-on control systems experience
Comfortable using multimeters, signal generators, and diagnostic tools
Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
In-house and factory technical training
Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
Experience with instruments, panels, and field devices
2+ years as a Control Systems Technician or equivalent role
Able to work independently and take personal responsibility
Fit for duty at all times
Maintain a valid driver’s license
