Senior Planner

• Provide progress reports, forecasts, and presentations to stakeholders
• Analyse project performance and identify risks, delays, and opportunities
• Monitor progress on site and update programmes to reflect live project conditions
• Develop and manage detailed construction programmes for structural steel projects
• Support decision-making with accurate planning data and solutions
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner with a strong background in structural steel projects to join a leading contractor. This is a site-based role, offering the chance to be directly involved in the delivery of major projects, ensuring programmes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

• Relevant qualifications in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Exposure to high-value structural steel projects
• Ability to work on-site, liaising directly with site teams and management
• Strong knowledge of planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project)
• Proven experience as a Planner/Senior Planner on structural steel or heavy civil engineering projects
