Lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, squatting for various periods of time.
Demonstrated VDOT experience, including familiarity with state specifications, construction standards, permitting, and project documentation requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Construction Engineering Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience executing Design-Build, EPC, ECI, CMAR, and alternate procurement methods at a senior level.
Advanced knowledge of construction contracts, including general/special terms and conditions.
Extensive experience in pile driving operations, including development of means and methods, oversight of installation, production tracking, quality control, and coordination with geotechnical engineers.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Wears various PPE (respirators, fall protection, etc.).
Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the year.
Working outdoors in various temperatures and conditions.
Ability to assemble and mentor internal technical teams to support project delivery.
Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects and multi-disciplinary field teams.
Strong decision-making, communication, negotiation, and technical writing skills.
Will travel on various land, water, and aircraft.
10+ years’ experience in heavy civil, mechanical, marine, or underwater construction industries.
Expert-level proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced construction/PM software.
Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required.
