Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on customs operations.
Manage the collection of primary KPIs (Volume, Cycle time, FPY) and reporting towards leadership.
Supervise submission of post entry corrections as applicable.
Manage the resolution for Pre-Entry escalations.
Control and maintain customs compliance procedures and operational work instructions.
Keep contact with the Customs Authorities, site contacts, customs brokers, and customs focal points of other GE Businesses in the region as necessary
Collaborate with business contacts to gather technical information required by Customs Authorities.
Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely declarations.
Lead cycle time & Pre-Entry escalation reduction projects.
Provide Import and Export operations support.
Support internal and external audits, and lead the implementation of audit corrective action plans.
Create and maintain work instructions for Customs Brokers and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) suppliers.
Manage daily operational execution, duty / TAX avoidance program Major Exporter Scheme(MES), and compliance programs in Singapore.

Excellent n communication skills.
Singapore Customs Broker License or equivalent certification preferred.
Previous experience in MES is essential.
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements based on Lean principles.
Those with either an A-Levels or diploma with at least 8 years of experience in customs processes would be considered.
Direct involvement in customs clearance processes and strong knowledge of Singapore Customs regulations is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs or Business from an accredited university or college & minimum 3 years of experience in customs processes is essential
Experience in working with global teams and cross-functional teams.
