Civil Project Engineer ABNA – St. Louis, MO

Description

• Conduct construction inspection for various public works and industrial projects.
• Support design of local roads, freeways, highways, bridges, and retaining walls.
• Support engineering tasks for civil project planning and wastewater design.
• Perform reviews of site surveys to collect essential project data.
• Perform site development, wastewater modeling, and flood control design.
• Manage project coordination, including scheduling and progress tracking.
• Conduct preliminary engineering studies and necessary field reconnaissance.
• Perform CADD design of civil site for buildings, parks, and wastewater systems.
• Coordinate project tasks with PEs, EITs, designers, surveyors, and field staff.

Requirements

• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Project is a plus.
• PE required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, and MicroStation.
• BS in Engineering
• Good working knowledge of MSD, MoDOT, IDOT, and IL Tollway standards is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
