The Role

Overview

Support employee morale, culture, and engagement through programs and communications.

Tasks

-In coordination with other human resources staff, support employee resource groups. -Help administer engagement programs such as recognition, milestones, team-building, wellness, philanthropy/volunteerism, and social events. -Assist with channels for employees to share their input, including stay-interviews, jobsite visits, etc. -Assist with drafting and distributing internal communications including newsletters, announcements, and intranet updates -Supports philanthropic efforts including giving campaigns, scholarship programs, and nonprofit support -Help administer employee surveys (pulse checks, engagement surveys), track participation, and prepare summary reports. -Support efforts to monitor and improve employee morale, recognition, and satisfaction. -Use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.). -May involve occasional travel to other offices, jobsites, or event venues -Help celebrate milestones such as birthdays, work anniversaries, and promotions. -May involve working at an active construction site on select days -Occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs. -Supports efforts on volunteerism and days of service -Support the education and engagement of other organizational resources such as mentorship, training, etc. -Support recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements, tenure anniversaries, and other milestones. -Help develop initiatives that strengthen company culture and values.

-Highly collaborative and can support cross-functional projects and initiatives. -High degree of integrity and accountability. -Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues. -Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. -Detail-oriented and self-motivated. -Professional demeanor and customer service orientation. -Knowledge of photography a plus -Effective organizational and time-management abilities. -Typical indoor working conditions with standard lighting and ventilation -1+ years of relevant experience in human resources, communications, or employee engagement preferred -Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. -Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required. -Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, marketing, communications or related field preferred -Proficiency with Microsoft Office -Ability to collaborate with diverse teams. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Basic understanding of business operations and workflows.
