Negotiate supplier Contracts and Pricing, and transmit to Procurement teams.
Manage sourcing strategy in line with GE existing global sourcing processes.
Work closely with Tendering activities to ensure accuracy.
Manage KPIs reporting and consolidation within the whole local sourcing group.
Provide Supplier insights, benchmarking and market analysis activities.
Build and strengthen supplier relationships
Accountable for developing, leading and implementing commodity strategies to deliver on safety, quality, delivery and landed/lifecycle cost for the assigned commodities.
Generate cost reduction and cash management actions.
Secure Supply Chain through Sourcing actions.
Facilitate action plan when Quality or Logistics issues with suppliers.
Provide support to stakeholders regarding Quality, Cost and Delivery of commodity.
Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes, and systems.
Ensure delivered products meet quality & on time delivery standards including being a point of escalation for supplier issues.

Experience with RFQ implementation and execution.
Experienced commodity manager, advanced experience and demonstrated years in Sourcing & Commodity management.
Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing / Supply Chain Management preferred.
Advanced collaboration with GE Key Commodity Leaders.
Ability to travel worldwide.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with Sourcing / Supply chain education preferred.
Negotiation skills.
Knowledge of purchasing practices, principles, and procedures.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated professional oral / written communication and negation skills.
Demonstrated team player with a strong initiative to win.
Exceptional analytical skills.
Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a challenging, fast paced work environment.
Previous Sourcing experience essential.
