The role involves leading multi‑discipline electrical engineering projects for nuclear power plant clients, ensuring successful delivery of calculations, specifications, drawings, and design changes while maintaining technical, quality, financial, and project control standards.
The position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring on‑site presence three days per week to facilitate coordination with team members and clients.

- Lead group efforts to meet project deliverables and client expectations.
- Define scope of work and deliverables such as calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Monitor and track team progress to maintain scope and budget.
- Conduct routine status meetings and submit progress reports.
- Track and resolve open items and emergent project issues.
- Coordinate completion of all project deliverables.
- Lead detailed design phases, integrating electrical work with other disciplines.
- Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex modifications.
- Create proposals for electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
- Provide technical oversight for design change packages and equipment upgrades.
- Perform engineering calculations: power studies, short‑circuit, cable ampacity, voltage drop, breaker coordination, motor starting, and relay settings.
- Prepare equipment procurement specifications and manage bid reviews.
- Interact with clients to validate scope and ensure satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide team members' development.
- Identify client needs that could generate strategic opportunities.
- Leverage client relationships to secure follow‑on work.
- Prepare and coordinate multi‑discipline proposals.
- Maintain a hybrid schedule with three days on‑site per week.
- Select equipment, materials, and assemble design change packages.
- Serve as a firm/client liaison in engineering roles.
- Design low and medium voltage distribution systems including transformers, generators, motors, and relays.

Candidates must hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, possess at least ten years of nuclear plant electrical design experience, and have three years of leadership experience, with strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to obtain a nuclear station badge; a PE licence is preferred.

The total compensation range for this role is $116,620.00 to $179,890.00, with a transparent base salary or hourly rate complemented by a discretionary annual bonus and a full benefits package.
