The Role
Overview
Assist with electrical engineering projects, CAD, PLC/HMI programming for generator equipment
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Provide drafting support and perform technical tasks under supervision. -Work on CAD drawings and technical documentation. -Liaise with internal and external suppliers/clients to develop solutions. -Determine system operating parameters for Caterpillar and third-party equipment. -Participate in project meetings and collaborate with suppliers. -Update bills of material and maintain project records. -Support engineering staff with drafting and design tasks. -Create PLC and HMI programs for assigned projects. -Assist in PLC/HMI programming and testing. -Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material.

What You Bring
-Completed 3rd year of Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering at a Canadian university. -Understanding of power generation and generator control systems. -Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming. -Proficient in CAD software and MS Office. -Learn and understand CAT engines and generator set offerings (diesel and natural gas). -Exposure to Caterpillar engines, generator sets, and third-party equipment. -Temporary Co-Op term 8 months. -Strong organizational and communication skills.
