Quality Control Technician

• Perform routine and specialized tests on ingredients, in-process, and finished goods.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on laboratory equipment while following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Participate in food safety and GMP programs to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant quality and safety objectives.
• Accurately document and input test data into computer systems for traceability and reporting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and request timely replacements or repairs.
• Monitor and communicate non-conformances to production and supervisory teams; assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.

Hours: 11pm-7am (will train on 1st shift then transition to third)

• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, food safety, and quality systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar systems preferred.
• Certifications in SQF or PCQI are a plus.
• 1–5 years of experience in a food laboratory or food manufacturing quality environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or laboratory training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.

Hourly: $25hr - $28hr
