- Responds to PSG malfunctions completing repairs as assigns. Uses electronic test equipment and other specialized tools as required.
- Observes PSG system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and locate causes of malfunction.
- Ensure recording and documenting maintenance and diagnostic data.
- Ensure the execution of simple failure analysis and technical investigation
- Participates in training programs as required.
- Performs routine, preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication and proper maintenance on assigned PSG (Platform Screen Gates) equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, operations and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain and produce accurate maintenance records, equipment performance, work accomplished, and other information using a computerized maintenance management system
- Perform additional job duties on unrelated systems included but not limited to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic controlled systems in accordance with training and qualifications
- Complies with Safety Rules, Operating Rulebook, and first-aid procedures.
- Completes assigned operational, equipment failure, safety, and other reports as required.
- Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are calibrated and in good condition
- Ensure the execution of assigned maintenance reports and inspection tasks.
- Support in performing substation fault diagnosis, inspection, testing, modification, maintenance, and repair.
- Ensure that the corrective and preventative maintenance tasks are executed in compliance with the company safety policy and local regulations
- Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty

- Ability to use common and specialized tools and test equipment.
- Ability to use and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturers' maintenance instructions, Operating Rulebook, etc., and to comprehend the operations and maintenance of PSG system.
- The role requires to work close proximity to the third rail frequently request Red Tag, LOTOs and hot stick application
- Knowledge of, or the ability to attain knowledge of the safety rules regarding lock-out protection while working on the line and the rules governing the protection of traffic.
- 1-3 years experience in electronic equipment maintenance
