The role encompasses leading feasibility studies, cost planning and procurement, managing post‑contract cost control and reporting, delivering value engineering and life‑cycle costing, and serving as the key interface with clients and consultants throughout project stages.
- Lead feasibility studies, business cases and procurement reporting.
- Apply value management techniques at project outset.
- Own and present final cost plans, managing estimating and cost planning.
- Oversee full procurement process from pre‑qualification to contract preparation.
- Manage post‑contract cost variances, change control and cost checking.
- Produce and present monthly post‑contract cost reports to clients.
- Participate actively in meetings, providing value engineering and life‑cycle costing.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts.
- Serve as primary client and consultant interface throughout all project stages.
- Drive marketing and business development within the manufacturing/technology sector.
- Provide line‑management and recruitment oversight for the team.

Candidates must possess strong knowledge of MEP systems, sustainability technology and modern construction methods, with extensive experience in advanced manufacturing or data‑centre projects, and a proven record of winning and delivering work for private and public sector property clients.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of MEP systems, sustainability tech and modern construction methods.
- Experience delivering projects in advanced manufacturing or data‑centre environments.
- Proven track record of winning and delivering private and public sector property work.
- Strong understanding of contracts, estimating, valuations, cost reporting and financial modelling.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills at senior levels.
