The Foreperson is responsible for planning, scheduling, and evaluating crew activities, training staff, enforcing safety and departmental policies, coordinating multi‑team projects, managing work orders and staffing, developing cost estimates, tracking actual versus estimated costs, maintaining work‑order data, supervising sign design and fabrication, and handling specifications, orders, and inventory management.
This role is well‑suited for individuals entering or re‑entering the workforce who have limited experience or formal education, and ABM actively encourages veterans and those with military backgrounds to apply.
Basic qualifications include being at least 18 years old, no requirement for a high school diploma or college degree, and at least one year of related work experience, with on‑the‑job training supplied. Preference is given to candidates who have a year of prior leadership experience.
The Foreperson role at ABM oversees and directs staff to ensure all functions are carried out productively and on time. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.50, with actual offers adjusted based on experience, skills, location, and market data.
