Senior Electrical Project Manager

Description

• Contribute to wider project strategy including:
• Manage onsite electrical installation, commissioning, QA/QC, and programme performance
• Tendering, bid support and technical input for presentations
• Oversee subcontractor management, procurement, risk management, and client liaison
• Supporting recruitment and team development across the project
• Mobilising new projects and supporting pre-construction teams
• Lead the full electrical delivery of major Data Centre projects valued up to £50m+
• Working closely with estimating and commercial teams on proposals, pricing and electrical strategy

Requirements

A leading UK M&E contractor operating across Residential, Commercial, and Data Centre sectors is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join its growing Data Centre division. You will be responsible for leading the electrical package on a £60m MEP Data Centre project, due for completion in Spring 2027.

• Essential: Experience working on Data Centre projects (mission critical environments, high-voltage systems, containment, generators, UPS, LV/HV distribution, etc.)
• Strong background managing full project lifecycles or multiple concurrent schemes
• Solid understanding of both delivery and pre-construction phases
• Excellent leadership, communication, technical, and stakeholder management skills
