Transport Manager

Description

The Transport Manager – Account Management role leads the transport network for a region or country, reporting to the HUB Lead. The position ensures uninterrupted transport service for clients, keeping the fleet operational around the clock.

Key duties include maintaining 24/7 fleet availability, establishing backup plans, and acting as the single point of contact for all transport‑related issues at client sites. The manager works closely with clients to understand needs, crafts efficient transport procedures that generate savings, and oversees vendor meetings, training, record‑keeping, incident reporting, and audit compliance.

Team leadership is central to the role: promoting collaboration, assigning workloads, and conducting regular team meetings to communicate processes, leaves, and backup plans. One‑on‑one sessions are held to monitor performance, conduct coaching, and support career development.

The manager drives business growth by sourcing opportunities for account expansion and encouraging team participation in training. Financial responsibilities include meeting targets through timely monthly accruals, accurate cost calculations, and processing invoices within agreed timelines.
