Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project’s agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management
Conducts investigations and inquiries into specific subcontracts problems, as assigned
Develops and issues subcontracts and services agreements as assigned
Receives bids and evaluates bids commercially
Organizes materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations, and training sessions, and prepares periodic status reports
Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures
Assists Subcontract Manager or more senior Subcontract Professionals in completion of the various tasks required by the Contract/Subcontract Management Guidebook, Standard Work Process Procedures, and automated subcontract management systems
Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents
Duties and responsibilities involve the formation and award of small value, routine-type subcontracts
Prepares subcontract documents for execution
Monitors areas of subcontract performance, as assigned
Gathers and compiles support data for the preparation of documents and the management of subcontracts
Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations
Assists with negotiations in commitment of contracts, but directs negotiation in small value contracts
Works with Digital Supply Chain and other Automation Tools
Prepares and organizes assigned meetings, such as pre-bid, bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the customer and contractor on all contractual matters

Extensive knowledge and experience in contract law, subcontract pricing, pre-award negotiation, subcontract drafting, and subcontract administration.
Ability to lead negotiations, prepare award recommendations and finalize subcontract documents for execution.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Ability to conduct market research, pre-qualify bidders and prepare bidders’ lists.
Experience on large scale projects
2-5yrs experience with Subcontract formation / development and / or field subcontract administration experience.
Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry subcontracting scopes of services and work practices, applicable government and commercial regulations and practices.
