We have been appointed, together with Arup, to provide design and consenting services for the UK National Grid’s £9 bn Great Grid Program. The initiative upgrades the electricity transmission network, integrates offshore wind and other renewables, and supports the UK’s net‑zero emissions goal beyond 2030.
Candidates should hold an electrical, electronic or power engineering qualification (HNC/HND, BSc/BEng, MSc/MEng) and have consultancy experience in transmission and distribution design. Knowledge of BS and Eurocode standards, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to clients, colleagues and subcontractors, are essential.
