Our team is responsible for multiple levels of environmental due diligence and permitting, and this role will be a leader on these projects with opportunities to interface directly with clients and other stakeholders
Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry-leading professionals, agencies, various jurisdictions, and contractors.

Gain knowledge in one or more of the following practice areas: Natural Resource Due Diligence and Permitting, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), and/or National Environmental Policy Act compliance
Ability to assess sites for Business Environmental Risks (BERs) and Recognized Environmental Conditions, and provide technical and practical guidance and solutions to clients and stakeholders
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment as well as the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments concurrently and meet deadlines
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Some travel may be required (approximately 30-50%).
Knowledge of state (i.e., TCEQ) permitting and regulations
Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant majors including Biology, Environmental Science, or related majors
Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed
2+ years relevant experience, including field work, data collection, and preparation of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
