Year 1 - Building Foundational Sales Skills
Year 3 – Transition & Leadership
- (Year 3 - Transition into a fully remote, external sales role, undertaking supervised client visits across the UK with occasional overseas travel.)
- (Year 1 & 2 will be based primarily in the Camberley office to allow you to build the foundation of your business, product and sales knowledge and to collaborate closely with the team. And transition to hybrid working within the first 3-6 months with a minimum of 3 days in the office, as responsibilities broaden and more interaction with customers and wider business takes place.)
- It would be advantageous to have a 2:1 or higher degree (or equivalent) in engineering: Mechanical, manufacturing, chemical, environmental, automotive or aerospace disciplines
- Commercial awareness: Understand the basics of business operations and the importance of delivering value to customers.
- Strong computer skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems to manage data and communicate effectively.
- Your second year will be focused on sharpening your negotiation and presentation skills, learning advanced sales strategies and mastering approaches to prospecting. This is where the theory gets put into practice as you work on real-time projects, collaborate across departments and actively contribute to sales campaigns to begin making a measurable impact. This real-life sales experience will be key for developing further skills in conflict resolution, adaptability and resilience.
- Full UK driving licence: Required for regular customer site visits and building relationships with key accounts.
- GCSE Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): A solid foundation for handling pricing, margins and data analysis.
Benefits
Salary £30,000 per annum (salary increase over each year of internship)
Year 2 – £33,000 at the start of year 2
Year 3 – £36,000 plus a car allowance at the start year 3
Your Three-Year Journey
The internship will be spanning both our Internal and External Sales teams, providing the opportunity to build commercial awareness, master practical sales skills, and contribute to real customer outcomes. At the end of the programme, interns apply for a permanent role in either Internal or External Sales.

- Your first year is all about building those essential soft skills that are required to be a successful sales team member, such as time management, prioritisation and effective communication. Alongside this you will be learning the fundamentals of our Products, CRM system the required sales techniques. You will gain deep product knowledge through hands on exposure in a variety of departments, to give you a clear understanding of the product lifecycle.

In year 1 and 2 performance will be recognised through our Company profit sharing bonus scheme, with bonus payments twice a year (March & September).
