  • Recognises what needs to be done and does it in a timely manner

  • Assist in cleaning all Metering Pumps and removing full Solution Waste Drum Pallets to the storage area - replenishing drums and pallets as required
  • Approaches daily tasks with a health and safety focus
  • Weekly, this chart must be signed off by the contract manager to verify completion of duties and submit to the contract administrator
  • Keeps up to date with knowledge and skills required to be successful in the role
  • Present a positive image to the customer
  • Perform all duties while following the safety guidelines within each Operating Procedure
  • Co-ordinate the movement of all completed cases from Spinning Machines to Product Lift. Each spinning module has a dedicated ‘Completed Case' lay-down box. Completed cases should be taken off the lift tables, taped closed and left here for the Product Flow Technician to remove
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
  • Maintain housekeeping of product elevator
  • On nightshifts the Product Flow Technician will be expected to assist in the cleaning of module meter pumps
  • Communicates information in a friendly and appropriate manner
  • Assure that the Safety checks in this area are complete and attend Safety Meetings, Audits and use the Specco, SABA System to complete all/any assigned courses
  • Takes initiative to develop working relationships within the team
  • Maintain own personal protective equipment to area standards
  • Keep floors clear of oil and clear of slip and trip hazards
  • The Product Flow Technician will carry out an inventory check at the beginning and end of each shift to determine stocks of all essential materials. This will include Tubes, Cardboard, Pallets, block Bottom Bags, Solution Waste Drums and any other consumables required on the Spinning Floor
  • Support any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM
  • Once per shift Inspect & Wash Acid Suits / Hoods / Boots - (3 sets available at all times) and restock PS3 unload lockers
  • Report all safety issues immediately and help in their correction if required
  • Take part in any prescribed and agreed on 5S Area Assignments
  • Increase awareness of dignity and inclusion

  • DuPont will require that the contractual role of Product Flow Technician to be crossed trained in various contractual roles to allow flexibility in the supply of Industrial Cleaning Services at the DuPont, Maydown site
  • Has the ability to think creatively, use initiative and offer suggestions/ideas
  • Sets a good example by demonstrating a positive and energetic approach
  • School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English
  • Positive attitude towards and supporting of change
  • Awareness of environmental impact of spills, acid, caustic and organic
  • To be trained on the safe operation of Walkie and/or Fork Lift Trucks
  • Maintains positivity in challenging times
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy of approach, striving to meet performance standards
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including 12 hour shifts as required
  • Eligibility to work in UK
  • Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and customer standards within own area, ensuring they are maintained on a daily basis
  • Computer literate, to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Communicates clearly and accurately, both written and verbal where appropriate
  • Awareness of own strengths and areas for development
  • Willing to undergo training/coaching in line with organisational philosophy
  • To be trained on the safe operation of Kevlar Elevators
  • Flexible, reliable, responsible, calm under pressure
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Is visible and approachable to all, encouraging co-workers to follow
  • On completion of each task, technician must sign off verification register
  • Full clean driving licence. Desired Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment
