Supporting traffic impact assessments and microsimulation modelling.
Supporting feasibility studies and scheme appraisals for transport improvements.
Designing and modelling urban streets, junctions, and roundabouts using industry-standard software (e.g., Junctions, LinSig, VISSIM).
Preparing drawings, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
Assisting with road safety audits and developing traffic management solutions.
Contributing to active travel projects by designing walking, cycling, and public transport-friendly networks.
Analysing traffic data, journey times, and flows to inform design and planning.

Are eligible to work in the UK & Ireland for the duration of the placement.
Are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn new software and tools.
Are currently studying towards a degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation/Traffic Engineering, Highway Engineering, or a related discipline.
Are detail-oriented with excellent research and report writing skills.
Have good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate ideas clearly.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid numeracy.
