- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
- Professional engineering designation in B.C. or eligibility within the year.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, earthquake engineering, and seismic analysis.
- Proficiency with LS‑Dyna, ANSYS, Abaqus, SAP 2000, MIDAS Civil/FEA, AutoCAD, Mathcad, MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally.
- Experience with concrete dam, spillway, intake, penstock or lined tunnel design (asset).
- Expertise in performance‑based seismic design and Canadian Dam Association guidelines (asset).
- Experience in dam safety reviews and regulatory compliance (asset).
