Work with VP of Construction Management to maintain current policies, procedures, and standards and in the development of new policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform all evaluations of project management staff, approve PTO, and assist upper management in project assignments.
Review subcontracts and work orders for new projects
Review CTC's with Project Managers to ensure that the CTC's are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Review change orders both to the GC/Owner and from the GC/Owner
Review and assist in the construction estimate process to ensure they are developed per Prism Electric, Inc. standards.
Review all vendor or subcontractor exceptions to any of Prism's terms and conditions, forward to VP of Construction for additional review and approval.
Train or assist in the training of new or current Project Managers on policies and procedures and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Assist VP of your division with the development and procedures of the small projects department.
Review all major purchases (bulk buys, blanket pricing, major equipment) with Regional VP. Major purchase orders, bulk buys, unique work orders, and purchase orders over $50,000 to be reviewed by the VP of Construction for approval.
Participate in interviews of potential new employee's for the branch as determined by upper management.
Manage the CAD/BIM department, review requests for equipment, access work load and schedules.
Assess the Project Managers methods, project staffing, work load, and responsibilities to ensure a productive and efficient work environment, and to be sure that the project staffing is in accordance with the projects estimated budgets.
Preside over and organize operational meetings once a month that include Project Executives, General Superintendents, and CAD/BIM Managers as necessary for assigned projects.
Review budget codes for new project set-up and change orders.
Manage major projects and major project teams in accordance with Prism Electric, Inc. standards and procedures while maintaining duties and responsibilities for specifically assigned projects.
