Minimum of 4 years of experience in major bridge construction projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Ability to perform physical tasks required for bridge inspections, including standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Experience with bridge design and work zone traffic control plans.
Experience working on airport-related bridge projects or with transportation infrastructure in high-traffic environments.
Must obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualification tests within specified time frames.
1 - 3 years of hands-on experience using CADD software, preferably MicroStation.
Knowledge of alternative contract delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CMGC.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Utah or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
OSHA 10-hour certification.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, material properties, and construction techniques.
