Project Manager

Description

The Senior Project Manager will oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) and consultancy projects within the Performance Products business, ensuring alignment with business objectives and reporting to the Senior Programme Manager.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and schedule performance.

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex multi‑disciplinary engineering projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues and governance using best‑practice tools.
• Act as primary customer and stakeholder interface, building relationships and resolving commercial issues.
• Control project spend, maintain accurate forecasts and support proposal preparation.
• Ensure production readiness and handover through validation, launch governance and APQP/PPAP compliance.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to the project‑management community.

Requirements

• Demonstrate proven experience delivering complex NPI or consultancy engineering projects.
• Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills in a matrix organisation.
• Maintain high IT literacy, including MS Project, and hold an engineering degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with best‑practice PM methodologies, ideally APM qualified, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
