Tasks

-Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on fire engineering as appropriate; -Prepare, oversee and review project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision. You will be accountable for significant and complex activities or projects. This will require you to be responsible for managing project staff, quality, delivery, predicting and planning future resources; -Be fully aware of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety; -Lead all types of fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas. -You will represent Arup at internal and external meetings including leading approvals negotiations and be a competent communicator;

What You Bring

-Relevant industry experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting business environment; -Prior experience in laboratories, data centres, infrastructure, warehouses, etc. -Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership; -Chartered and Registered with relevant engineering authority body -Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or similar area;
