Apprentices

Description

Apprentice Plumbers and Electricians will train alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands‑on experience while completing an apprenticeship programme. They will support the installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of residential heat‑pump systems, developing practical skills in a fast‑growing sector.

• Assist with installation and commissioning of heat pump systems.
• Prepare pipework and plumbing systems for heat pump installations.
• Service, repair, and maintain systems per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
• Provide technical assistance to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Eligible for SOLAS registration as an Apprentice.
• Strong interest in plumbing or electrical work and technology.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work well in a team.
• Physically capable of manual tasks, working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Prior exposure to plumbing, electrical or construction work is advantageous.
