Description

You will contribute to engineering projects by supporting design, analysis, and implementation, while also assisting with special projects that involve technical problem‑solving and process improvements. Your role includes maintaining engineering data, developing operational documentation, and supporting small capital and expense project management through cost tracking and schedule updates.

• Support design, analysis, and implementation of engineering projects.
• Perform technical problem‑solving and process‑improvement tasks.
• Maintain and verify engineering data, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Create technical documentation, help guides, and training materials.
• Assist with cost tracking and reporting for small capital and expense projects.
• Develop and update project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using Microsoft Project.
• Troubleshoot technical issues applying engineering principles.
• Prepare project savings and justification reports.
• Maintain a customer‑focused, team‑oriented mindset.

Requirements

The position requires enrollment in an accredited college or university in a relevant engineering discipline, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work independently and collaboratively, be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, and manage multiple priorities in a changing project environment.

Interns will acquire real‑world engineering experience on impactful projects and exposure to project management tools and methodologies. Mentorship and networking with seasoned engineers will help develop technical and professional skills that enhance career readiness.
