The Process Engineering Specialist will join this team, reporting to the Director of Process Engineering, and will be based in Ontario/Quebec with a hybrid work schedule. The role focuses on extractive metallurgy projects—including mineral processing, hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical operations—and supports the growth of the M&M business in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
This position combines deep technical knowledge with significant leadership, overseeing process engineering studies, mentoring junior staff, and managing client interactions, technology selection, trade‑off analyses, and equipment sizing. Deliverables include process design criteria, mass and heat balances, flow diagrams, P&IDs, and control philosophies.
The company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and respects privacy and accessibility requirements throughout recruitment. A Canadian Professional Engineer designation (or eligibility) and proficiency in English are required, with the role involving considerable travel outside Québec.
AtkinsRéalis offers competitive compensation (US$125‑172 k annually), a broad suite of flexible benefits, continuous training, hybrid working arrangements, and generous time‑off policies to support personal and professional wellbeing.
