The Process Engineering Specialist will join this team, reporting to the Director of Process Engineering, and will be based in Ontario/Quebec with a hybrid work schedule. The role focuses on extractive metallurgy projects—including mineral processing, hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical operations—and supports the growth of the M&M business in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
- Lead process engineering projects and studies, acting as Process Lead.
- Mentor, guide, and develop junior engineers.
- Engage clients to capture project requirements and define process scope.
- Conduct technology selection and lead trade‑off studies.
- Plan, scope, and manage on‑site or laboratory process testing.
- Select and size equipment, preparing specification sheets.
- Produce process deliverables: design criteria, mass & heat balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and control logic.
- Provide technical leadership, supervising complete process deliverables and mentoring staff.

This position combines deep technical knowledge with significant leadership, overseeing process engineering studies, mentoring junior staff, and managing client interactions, technology selection, trade‑off analyses, and equipment sizing. Deliverables include process design criteria, mass and heat balances, flow diagrams, P&IDs, and control philosophies.

- Demonstrated advanced technical writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Possess a Canadian Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility.
- Communicate fluently in English; travel >80% outside Québec.
