  • Administer GeoTab telematics data system by providing reports, dashboards, and trend data to operations; support operations with technical guidance, training, and administration; take necessary actions (including conducting coaching) to ensure drivers receive feedback to improve compliance.

  • Analyze driver safety metrics (leading and lagging indicators) to identify trends and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Administer the Samba MVR monitoring program by providing operations with technical guidance, training, and administration assistance.
  • Administer the NetraDyne dash cam data system by preparing reports, dashboards, and trend analyses for operations. Support operations with technical guidance, training, and administration. Take necessary actions (including conducting coaching) to ensure drivers receive feedback to improve compliance.
  • Stay current with fleet safety trends and recommend enhancements to existing safety programs.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
  • Review roadside inspections, verify inspections are closed per FMCSA regulations, determine root causes and communicate preventive measures.
  • Process safety components of the Terracon Commuter Driver Program.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Identify areas for improvement to ensure adherence to policies and Department of Transportation (FMCSA) regulations.
  • Conduct audits of Department of Transportation (FMCSA) compliance programs and processes, including electronic driver logs (ELDs), driver qualification files, and vehicle maintenance requirements. Identify discrepancies, potential violations and assist in implementing corrective actions to close gaps in the FMCSA program.
  • Provide administrative support for other safety-related tasks and projects as needed.

  • Strong communication, training and Interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
  • Experience with installing, maintaining and troubleshooting safety devices, such as ELDs and dashcams.
  • Proficient with telematics systems for monitoring vehicle locations, driving activity, and driver behavior.
  • Highly organized with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Skilled in conducting detailed investigations and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Solid understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, transportation, or a related field and minimum of 3 years related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years related experience.
