Provide comprehensive support for safety training initiatives, including coordination of training sessions, management of training materials, and tracking of training completion.
Conduct regular audits of training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Execute additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Health and Safety.
Design and coordinate the safety assurance program.
Proactively communicate with field personnel to address any training-related issues or concerns.
Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving safety processes, including support for process mapping, and developing Standard Operating procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, and best practices in safety training.
Development and implementation of safety training programs, including curriculums, syllabus, evaluation criteria, training satisfaction surveys and other training initiatives.
Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds
Work in tandem with the operations teams to identify areas for enhancement in safety training processes and procedures.
Manage the training calendar and ensure timely completion of all required training.
Develop and implement the Qualified Electrical Worker Program for the organization.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and field compliance.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting)
Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Standards (OHSA, NFPA 70E)
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of training and compliance process and procedures.
Proficiency in training databases such as Avetta, ISNetworld, Heatspring, etc.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices is a plus.
Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within project teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and other software applications.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Travel: up to 50% as needed
Strong understanding of developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures.
Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite)
