Senior Geospatial Analyst specializing in LiDAR calibration, responsible for processing and adjusting airborne and mobile LiDAR data, performing quality checks, and creating digital mapping products.
Document QA/QC findings and communicate results to project managers and technical staff.
Create a variety of digital mapping/remotely sensed products using various software platforms;
Create and manipulate databases;
Performing relative and absolute adjustments to Lidar data (calibration/alignment/registration)
Processing and extraction of Lidar data from raw formats
Creating Scripts/Models/Macros in multiple GIS/Lidar platforms
Review and validate post-processed LiDAR data sets for completeness and accuracy.
Perform quality checks against project specifications, industry standards, and client guidelines.
Verify that data meets point density, spatial distribution, and classification requirements.
Report writing;
Quality checks on data post acquisition
Assess point cloud characteristics including noise, gaps, overlap, and vertical/horizontal accuracy.
Perform QAQC on processed data to ensure it meets rigorous accuracy requirements
