The Maintenance Supervisor at Springdale Glen, a Cushman & Wakefield property, provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents. This role ensures quality move‑in experiences, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention, helping the company deliver superior customer service.
Key duties include preparing market‑ready apartments by performing painting, carpet cleaning or repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to present a high‑quality product. The Supervisor completes resident service requests in a timely manner and possesses knowledge of a wide range of maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool upkeep, HVAC, carpentry, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, and life‑safety issues.
The Supervisor maintains the property’s grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, keeping them clean and free of hazards. On‑call emergency procedures are performed as required, and any maintenance issues that affect the budget—such as life‑safety concerns, vacant unit repairs, property damage, or common‑area needs—are reported to the manager.
Preventative maintenance is scheduled, executed, and recorded regularly, and the Supervisor stays knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems related to maintenance. Participation in required training programs and adherence to Cushman & Wakefield safety policies are expected.
The work environment is a professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment, and the role involves regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
The position requires the ability to work any shift, Sunday through Saturday, and safe use of cleaning agents and equipment. Candidates must demonstrate basic math skills, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess a CPO certification if required by city or state, as well as an EPA 608 Type II certification.
Education requirements include a high school diploma, GED, or trade, technical, or vocational schooling. Applicants should have at least three years of related maintenance experience and the appropriate EPA 608 or local certification.
Physical demands involve moving between floors, climbing stairs, and occasional outdoor travel, while remaining stationary (sitting or standing) for about 85 % of the time. Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lb and travel up to 10 % of the time.
