- Rework and/or repair assembled parts and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures.
- Operates and maintains test equipment.
- Support cross training and other departments.
- Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification.
- Collects and analyzes test data.
- Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards.
- Stage materials for shipment as required.
- Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures.
- Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment. Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area.
- Perform work with limited to no supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, and follows procedures.
- Primary function is to maintain the operation of technical assemblies.
- Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs.

- Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools.
- Experience in aerospace products and applications.
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written
- 2-3 years’ experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
- Strong ethics, values, and the ability to influence others’ decision-making.
- Experience with soldering and wiring.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Minimum of 1-3 years with Manufacturing Environment experience
- Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English.
- Experience with general electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc.
- Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts.
- Soldering experience
- Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown.
- Detailed knowledge of Aerospace product, manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.
- Experience in an Aerospace testing and quality environment.
- Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements.
- Ability to use calculators.
