The Site Civil Engineer (PE) will join the Land Development Engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Team Leader. The role involves plan production, design calculations, and supporting project teams on site and civil land‑development projects such as layouts, utilities, grading, erosion control, and storm‑water management.
- Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Provide technical support in site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management.
- Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions.
- Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
- Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or community members.

The position does not offer visa sponsorship; applicants must already possess work authorization in the job location.
- Coordinate permitting with county and local municipalities; experience with local municipalities is a plus.
- Multi‑task, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.
- Occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years related experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Storm and Sanitary Analysis software, PondPack, and Microsoft Suite products.
- Experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide excellent client service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, attention‑to‑detail, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; offer constructive feedback and direction.

Base salary varies with knowledge, skills, and experience, ranging from $87,100 to $108,900 USD.
