The successful candidate will be involved from project inception through bidding, concept and detailed design, procurement, and construction support, applying water infrastructure design skills to meaningful projects. They will also build and maintain strong client relationships across various sectors and mentor junior engineers and designers.
An experienced engineer is sought for AECOM’s Water infrastructure team in Townsville, Queensland, to work on significant projects including pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water and wastewater treatment facilities for clients both locally and beyond. The role offers a blend of technical, project management, and commercial experience within a regional office of an international consultancy.
Candidates should hold relevant tertiary qualifications and be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or be eligible for registration. Experience in water or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments, strong collaborative abilities, and a passion for guiding junior staff are highly desired.
