Report to the Lead Design Engineer for work responsibilities, scheduling, and quality control.
Design automation, controls, and related SCADA systems for water/wastewater processes, including communications, PLC architecture, instrumentation, and related software and hardware.
Prepare detailed control panel wiring schematics, panel layouts, bills of material, communication diagrams, etc.
Prepare instrumentation and control system submittal packages.
Design electrical distribution systems, including one-line diagrams, plan drawings, panel schedules, and equipment elevations.
Prepare project specifications pertaining to electrical, instrumentation, and process controls.
Prepare Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Work with the Lead Design Engineer to periodically review and update design standards to maintain compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and good engineering practices.
Occasionally visits client sites to investigate existing field conditions as required for preparing design documents.

Pursuing the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
AutoCAD experience
Able to easily interact with other design staff.
AutoDesk REVIT, AutoCAD, or must be willing to be quickly trained.
