What you would be doing

  • Use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Notify branch management immediately on any unsafe loading condition.
  • Load and unload materials on and off trucks
  • Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned vehicle.
  • Drive trucks with trailers to and from designated locations.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Drive trucks from the facility to designated locations
  • Participate in mandatory federally regulated programs.
  • Keep mileage logs as necessary.
  • Operate forklifts periodically.

  • One must also obtain a clean driving history record.
  • Will experience frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Moffett experience is not necessary. In-house training is available
  • Ability to follow directions from dispatcher/branch management.
  • One must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL CLASS A).
  • Some schooling is preferred.
  • Must be able to operate Class A tractor safely and efficiently.
  • Dexterity to manipulate and utilize equipment on an as needed basis.
  • Frequently experience lifting and carrying objects including overhead lifting (weights will vary from 50 to 150 pounds).
  • Ability to convey directions and work effectively with others.
  • Obtain visual acuity.
