As a Professional Engineer for Roadway, you will lead the roadway design discipline, collaborate with project managers, clients, stakeholders, and sub‑consultants, and own projects from inception through completion while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule.
- Design and analyze freeways, interstates, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared‑use trails.
- Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
- Lead the roadway design discipline under a Project Manager and coordinate other design disciplines.
- Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and sub‑consultant management.
- Own projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and schedule compliance.
- Collaborate with coworkers to achieve shared success.

Candidates should hold a BS in Civil Engineering and possess a Professional Engineering license (or be able to obtain one within a year). The role seeks engineers with 5‑10 years of roadway transportation experience, proficiency in Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software, and strong communication and organizational skills.

- Professional Engineering license in the state of employment or ability to obtain within one year.
- 5–10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering.
- Experience on multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria.
- Proficiency with Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software.
- Understanding of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures.
- Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience (preferred).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
