We are looking for a highly motivated Regional Technical Service Manager for our VIB Product Group. In this role you will act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring successful implementation, integration, and optimization of our products. You will also provide onsite technical service, repairs, refurbishments, upgrades, troubleshooting, and exceptional customer support.
- Manage and perform onsite technical service for VIB equipment, including repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades.
- Drive top‑line growth and profitability of the service business.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and build stakeholder relationships.
- Expand onsite service business and increase sales of new, replacement, or upgrade equipment.
- Support sales through site visits, training, and customer presentations.
- Configure, implement, and optimize applications to meet client needs.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support and troubleshooting.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
- Relay customer feedback to product teams to influence improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical and commercial documentation such as user guides and best practices.
- Create and market preventative maintenance service plans.
- Collaborate with other product groups to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Travel 50%+ regionally with occasional international trips for meetings or training.
- Work independently in the field with minimal supervision and lead service technicians.

The position requires more than 50% regional travel to customer sites and facilities, with occasional international trips for global meetings or training when required.
- Hold post‑secondary education in paper technology, engineering, automation or a related field.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in technical sales, service, or product management; pulp and paper experience preferred.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Exhibit a service‑mindset, strong customer focus, and self‑motivation to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient with Office 365; basic AutoCAD and SAP knowledge advantageous.
