Project Engineer

Description

• Oversee engineering, execution, technical, and safety aspects of assigned projects.
• Lead schedule preparation, coordination, and monitoring to ensure code, QA/QC, and EHS compliance.
• Manage performance of subcontractors and vendors to ensure project completion per plans.
• Execute project activities as primary focus.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal support teams.
• Prepare and implement project schedules on-site.
• Follow up on approved shop drawings, schematics, and technical submittals.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors during execution.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, ethics, and quality standards on site.
• Handle material management, including MIR reconciliation.
• Produce daily/weekly progress reports and authenticate them.
• Raise purchase requisitions for required materials in advance.
• Certify measurements of executed work (WIR).
• Perform pre-commissioning activities as required.
• Manage invoice claims, client approvals, payment realization, and receivable follow-up.
• Identify and address dependencies causing project delays.
• Review and validate subcontractor R.A. bills.
• Foster a collaborative team environment with a Zero Harm safety focus.

Requirements

The role seeks a highly skilled, team-oriented Project Engineer who will oversee engineering, execution, technical and safety aspects of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities include leading schedule preparation, coordinating activities, managing subcontractors and vendors, and complying with applicable codes, QA/QC and EHS policies. Experience with large-infrastructure ELV systems such as BMS, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, VESDA and intruder alarm is preferred.

• Preferably have large-infrastructure ELV experience (BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, VESDA, Intruder Alarm).
