Sustainablity & Innovation Intern - Naperville, IL, Madison, WI, or St Louis, MO

Description

• Assist in data collection and reporting for Innovation projects
• Provide team and engineer support (virtual and on-site) by troubleshooting and assisting with technology issues
• Contribute to sustainability-focused projects while developing career paths such as Innovation Specialist or VR Lead.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for innovation projects
• Maintain an innovation log to track ideas, issues, and improvements during projects
• Work with cutting-edge tools like our MEG AI( for chats, calculations and reporting), VR/AR, carbon modeling, and data dashboards that are transforming design and construction.
• Document processes and workflows to support knowledge sharing and consistency
• Present research findings and project progress to the Innovation team
• Assist with researching emerging technologies related to Innovation team objectives

Requirements

• Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of data principles, tools, and frameworks
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
• Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
• Working knowledge of engineering principles
