Required to lead, develop, and foster an innovative and collaborative work environment within TRC's Transmission Engineering practice.
Work with the other Transmission Engineering supervisors for resource management optimization.
Act as a subject matter expert by applying knowledge of industry standards and civil/electrical engineering design principles specific to Overhead and Underground utility transmission systems. Provide QAQC support for projects when required.
Participate with your Manager in new client pursuits.
Participate with the hiring manager in the recruiting process including interviewing and onboarding of new employees.
Participate in the preparation of proposals, schedules, and budget estimates for client activities.
Responsible for the coordination & planning of assignments, ensuring that projects for which you supervise meet resource requirements, budget, and schedule.
Supervise staff including performance feedback, salary planning, training, and career development.
Participate with your Manager in overseeing and expanding the workload of existing clients.
Responsible for project bill rate establishment and utilization of your staff.
Responsible for timesheet and expense approvals of your staff.
As a project supervisor, ensure performance objectives are being met, proper document management is being implemented, and the quality process is being followed.
Work closely with your staff to understand technical gaps and provide training opportunities to fill those gaps.

5+ years of transmission line engineering experience
Registered Professional Engineer is preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (Civil or Structural preferred)
Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage an audience
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
