As a Night Assistant you will support the delivery of high‑quality security, housing and support services across a defined geographical area, helping clients of Riverside’s supported schemes.
- Implement night security systems to ensure safety.
- Follow health and safety policies.
- Deal effectively with anti‑social behaviour.
- Maintain cleanliness, prepare rooms, and conduct site inspections.
- Record updates in Support and Housing Management databases.
- Apply policies and procedures for effective service delivery.
- Address culture, diversity, and equality issues, preventing discrimination.
- Promote client involvement, consultation, and communication.
- Assist service users with tenancy issues and rent payments.
- Respond to discovered faults.
- Provide a welcoming reception area following Psychologically Informed Environment standards.
- Contribute to stock control, purchasing, and storage of consumables.
- Provide administrative support to Housing Team and Service Managers.
- Deliver client‑led outcomes in line with corporate policies.
- Work within a multi‑disciplinary team, adhering to rota and geographical responsibilities.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and supervisions.
- Help colleagues meet KPIs such as voids, arrears, and outcome targets.
- Uphold equality and diversity in service delivery.
- Support quality housing management alongside housing team.
- Liaise to empower clients and ensure effective information exchange.
- Report repairs to maintenance contractors using appropriate systems.
- Champion high‑quality, customer‑oriented service reflecting the Riverside Service Style.
- Review work outputs, set improvement targets, and assess performance.
- Contribute to divisional team initiatives and innovation.
- Undertake personal development to stay current on legal, political, financial, and sector developments.
